What a day looks like

Five things happen every afternoon at LLC. Together they add up to more than homework help.

  1. A teacher works through a worksheet with three students at a classroom table.

    Learn Homework help and reading tutoring K–12

    Daily homework help in small groups, plus reading tutoring from certified Miami-Dade County Public Schools teachers for students who need a boost.

  2. A student controls a small robot built from a robotics kit on a classroom table.

    Create Art, music and STEM K–12

    Art, music, STEM projects and summer science give students room to make things and show what they can do.

  3. Students play basketball on the center’s outdoor court with a coach.

    Move Daily physical education K–12

    Physical education every day with a certified fitness coach, on our own court.

  4. Students and a staff member play a word game together at a table.

    Belong Social-emotional learning K–12

    Social-emotional learning helps students name their feelings, build friendships and handle hard moments.

    Lead College, career and life skills Grades 6–12

    Teens prepare for what comes next: college readiness, career exploration, financial education and life skills.
