Each pillar has its own activities, staff and goal. Together they turn after-school hours into growth.
Learn Homework help and reading tutoring K–12
Daily homework help in small groups, plus reading tutoring from certified Miami-Dade County Public Schools teachers for students who need a boost.

Create Art, music and STEM K–12
Art, music, STEM projects and summer science give students room to make things and show what they can do.

Move Daily physical education K–12
Physical education every day with a certified fitness coach, on our own court.

Belong Social-emotional learning K–12
Social-emotional learning helps students name their feelings, build friendships and handle hard moments.

Lead College, career and life skills Grades 6–12

After-school program
School year, Monday to Friday

- Every school day after dismissal. Full days on most Miami-Dade school closure days.

- Homework help, reading tutoring, daily PE, art, music, SEL, teen programs, daily snack, and meals on long days.
- Cost
- Scholarship-supported for every enrolled family. Ask about your family’s cost.
- Pickup
- Parent or authorized adult pickup at the center. Ask us about transportation options for your school.
Summer camp
Full days, all summer
When school is out, LLC opens all day. Summer camp is an educational camp: science, geography, physical education, arts, field trips and a lot of fun. Meals are included. Camp is scholarship-supported for enrolled families.

Family support
Support that reaches the whole family
- In-house food pantry for families who need it

Common questions
Do you help with homework in English and Spanish?
Yes. Staff are bilingual. Homework help follows what the school assigns, and reading tutoring is delivered by certified Miami-Dade County Public Schools teachers.
Is there really PE every day?
Yes. A certified fitness coach leads physical education every program day on the center’s own court.
What do students eat?
A daily nutritional snack is provided through the Florida Department of Health. On full days (school closures and summer), lunch and snacks are included.
What programs are there for teens?
Middle and high school students have college readiness, career exploration, financial education, life skills, peer mentoring, and the Ambassador Program.
Can my child join in the middle of the year?
Often yes, if there is space in their grade band. Start an enrollment inquiry and we will tell you the current status within two business days.
