Growing a garden, learning to conserve
Students plant, water and harvest in the center’s garden while learning about water and the environment.
How we got here
- 2009
Leadership Learning Center at Saint John Bosco, Inc. is incorporated as a Florida nonprofit, rooted in the parish’s long service to Little Havana families.
- 2014
The center breaks ground on a new building to expand after-school capacity.
- Ongoing
The Children’s Trust funds LLC as a K–5 and 6–12 youth development provider.
- Each November
Give Miami Day becomes the center’s biggest community fundraising day.
- Today
About 250 K–12 students a year, all on scholarship, five days a week, plus summer camp.
