Ambassador Program

Be the voice of LLC in your school.

A year-long, fun and prestigious role for students 11 and up who want to lead, organize and speak up for kids in Little Havana.

What ambassadors do

  • Host at least one food collection drive
  • Organize at least two fundraising events (bake sale, paint party, game night…)
  • Take part in LLC’s online fundraising campaign
  • Share LLC’s story in your school, community and on social media

Who can apply

  • Students 11 years old or older
  • Any school in Miami-Dade
  • Parent or guardian consent for applicants under 18
  • Service hours can be documented for school requirements

What you get

  • Monthly emails from the Ambassador Coordinator with ideas and incentives
  • Text alerts and check-in calls through the year
  • A step-by-step Ambassador packet for drives and events
  • An LLC sweatshirt and promotional materials

Annual ambassador fee: $50. It covers the sweatshirt, packet and materials. Ask us if the fee is a barrier.

After you apply, the Ambassador Coordinator reviews your application and emails you within 5 business days.

Questions

Is the fee required?

The $50 annual fee covers your sweatshirt, packet and materials. If it is a barrier, tell the coordinator; we do not want cost to stop a good ambassador.

Do I have to use social media?

Sharing LLC’s story is part of the role, but an Instagram handle is optional and you can share in person or through your school instead.

Can my parent apply for me?

The application should be in your words, but a parent or guardian must give consent if you are under 18, and can help you fill it out.
